Night Glow e27 Bulb Anti Blue Light – DIMMABLE – Red or Amber
The Night Glow E27 bulbs fit any lamp with a standard “thick” socket, making them easy to use anywhere, as most people still have this size socket in their ceiling or table lamps. This allows you to easily convert your regular lamp into an “anti-blue light” bulb, allowing you to enjoy light after sunset while still sleeping optimally.
Dimmable
- Works best on phase cut-out
- Works on both phase cut-in and cut-out
[+/- 7 Watt LED = 50 to 60 Watt lamp – NO FLICKER* ]
* NO FLICKER = A lamp that has no visible flicker and is therefore not disturbing to the eyes or cameras.
The lamp is available in two versions: red light and amber (orange) light.
Red light is completely free of blue and green light, while orange light is completely free of blue light but contains a small amount of green. Of course, you cannot see any green; the lamp is 100% orange/amber because colors mix.
See the Specifications for an explanation with graphs.
-If you use the lights mainly in the evenings and not at night, the advantage of amber is that the visibility is much higher than with red.
-If you only use the lights at night, my preference would be red.
Are these lamps really blue blocker or blue block lamps?
Of course, lamps don’t block light that’s already present. So the term “Blue Block” is just a fancy term, but not realistic. The LEDs themselves are completely free of blue light, so you won’t get any blue light in your eyes as long as you only have these LEDs turned on.
LEDs can also compensate for the blue light peak. For example, if you have a white lamp on with a large blue peak, and an amber lamp is also on in the same environment, the amount of green, yellow, orange, red, and a little infrared in the whole becomes much higher, so the blue doesn’t disappear but rather forms a more unified whole.
Specifications
Below you see the colors as measured with a photospectrometer:
Above you see the pure red from the red lamp.
Above, you can see the combination of green and red from the Amber lamp.
The important thing is that neither emits blue light.
